Delivery Policy

All our products arrive in the best possible condition directly to you from our workshop. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays.

We cannot currently deliver our large furniture to the whole of the UK. Our delivery area covers mainland UK and most of Scotland. Delivery to the following postcodes is restricted and may incur some additional fees: AB, BT, DD, DG, E, EC, EH, FK, G, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW, KY, LD, ML, N, NW, PA, PH, PO30-41, SA, SE, SW, TD, TR, W, WC, ZE.

If you live in Scotland or one of the UK offshore islands, please check with us by emailing contact@gardenandfurniture.co.uk before ordering large furniture to ensure we can deliver to your area. We do not currently deliver to anywhere outside the UK.

All large and heavy products are sent using recorded delivery. Please make sure someone is available to accept the delivery on the arranged day. If for any reason you are not available to accept delivery on the arranged day and have not informed either ourselves or the hauliers, a re-delivery charge will be applied and need paying for before we proceed with the consignment. If this is not paid within 48 hours, the consignment will be returned to ourselves and although a refund will be made, haulage costs incurred by us will be deducted.

Standard delivery for small items is 3-5 working days. Large and heavy items are sent using a pallet delivery service and may take up to 2-3 working days to arrive. Please note, this does not include the manufacturing time. We always aim to meet this timeframe but delivery times cannot be guaranteed for reasons that may be beyond our control.

1.2 These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) govern your use of our website located at www.gardenandfurniture.co.uk (together or individually “Service”) operated by Garden & Furniture Etc Limited.

1.3 Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of the Service and explains how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information that results from your use of our web pages.

1.4 Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy (“Agreements”). You acknowledge that you have read and understood Agreements and agree to be bound by them.

3.1 The images of the products on our website are for illustrative and guidance purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

3.2 Most of the products shown on our website are made to order. Depending on the quantity you wish to have, it can take up to 10 working days to produce and deliver your order. Please note that this will not apply to all products sold on our website.

3.3 For bulk purchases, please contact us at sales@gardenandfurniture.co.uk to discuss the discounts we offer.

  1. Price

4.1 The price of products will be as quoted on our website.

4.2 These prices include VAT and delivery cost, which will be added to the total amount due at the checkout.

4.3 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you an order confirmation.

  1. Payment

5.1 If you wish to purchase a product or service through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including but not limited to, your credit or debit card number, the expiration date of your card, your billing address and your shipping information.

5.2 You represent and warrant that:

5.2.1 You have the legal right to use any card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase;

5.2.2 The information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete.

5.2.3 Payment for all products must be by credit or debit card. We also accept payments made via PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

5.2.4 Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the order process.

5.3 After placing an order, we will send you an email that confirms that your order for the Product(s) has been accepted (the “Order Confirmation”). The Contract between us will be formed only when we send you the Order Confirmation.

5.4 We will charge your credit or debit card upon checkout and despatch our Order Confirmation electronically to the details you provide. We will only accept orders for items that are currently showing as “In Stock” on our website when you place your order.

5.5 In the event that we are unable to take full payment for the Products from your specified account, we reserve the right to cancel the Contract forthwith or to suspend any further deliveries to you.

5.6 All care is taken by us to ensure all information provided by you in connection with your order is secure. In the event that you may suffer loss through a third-party unauthorised access to any data you provide to us when accessing and ordering from our website, we cannot be held liable for that loss unless this is solely due to our negligence.

5.7 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction is suspected.

  1. No Use by Minors

6.1 The Service is intended only for access and use by individuals of at least eighteen (18) years old.

6.2 By accessing or using the Service, you warrant and represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and with the full authority, right, and capacity to enter into this agreement and abide by all of the terms and conditions of Terms.

6.3 If you are not at least eighteen (18) years old, you are prohibited from both the access and usage of Service.

7.1 We cannot currently deliver to the whole of the UK. Our delivery area covers mainland UK and most of Scotland.

7.2 Unfortunately, delivery to the following postcodes is restricted and may incur some additional fees except for small home accessories: AB, BT, DD, DG, E, EC, EH, FK, G, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW, KY, LD, ML, N, NW, PA, PH, PO30-41, SA, SE, SW, TD, TR, W, WC, ZE. Each listing will contain information about whether your postcode is excluded or not. If you live in Scotland or one of the offshore islands, please check with us by emailing at contact@gardenandfurniture.co.uk before ordering to ensure we can deliver to your area.

7.3 We do not currently deliver to anywhere outside the UK. 

7.4 All our products arrive in the best possible condition; they are delivered directly to you from our workshop.

7.5 Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays.

7.6 Standard delivery for small items is 3-5 working days. We always aim to meet this but delivery times cannot be guaranteed and this may be for reasons beyond our control.

7.7 Large and heavy items are sent using a pallet delivery service and may take up to 2-3 working days to arrive. Please note, this does not include the manufacturing time.

7.8 Delivery price is included in the total product price.

7.9 We send our large items using recorded delivery. Please be sure someone is available to accept the delivery on the arranged day. If for any reason you are not available to accept delivery on the arranged day and have not informed either ourselves or the hauliers, a re-delivery charge will be applied and need paying for before we proceed with the consignment. If this not paid within 48 hours, the consignment will be returned to ourselves and although a refund will be made, it will be less all haulage costs incurred by us.


7.10 Delivery will be completed when we deliver the Products to the address you provide us with in your order.

  1. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

9.1 We endeavour to make sure everything is in perfect condition before it leaves us, but if you wish to make a return for any reason here is what to do:

9.2 If an item is damaged, faulty or not what you have ordered, please contact us within 7 working days to let us know. It must then be returned to us within 14 working days of notification with the Product unused. For exchange or refund, you are obliged to return the Product in the same condition in which you received it, including being in its original packaging. We will either arrange collection by courier or ask you to return it by post. If your return satisfies the requirements stated above, we will reimburse you for the original delivery charges you paid and any reasonable costs incurred in returning the item to us, provided the method of return has been agreed by us prior to return.

9.3 For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you received the product, and we will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. You will be required to pay the return postage or collection costs. We only issue refunds for undamaged items in their original packaging. If a Product is not returned in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

9.4 When you return a Product to us for any reason, we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

9.5 We will usually refund any money using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

10.1 Content found on or through this Service is the property of Garden & Furniture Etc Limited.

11.1.7 To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm or offend the Company or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

11.2 Additionally, you agree not to:

Returns & Refunds

We endeavour to make sure everything is in perfect condition before it leaves us, but if you wish to make a return for any reason here is what to do:

Damaged/defective goods or not what you ordered

If an item is damaged, faulty or not what you have ordered, please contact us within 7 working days to let us know. It must then be returned to us within 14 working days of notification and must be returned unused. For exchange or refund, you are obliged to return it in the same condition in which you received it, including being in its original packaging. We will either arrange collection by courier or ask you to return it by post. If your return satisfies the requirements stated above, we will reimburse you for the original delivery charges you paid and any reasonable costs incurred in returning the item to us, provided the method of return has been agreed by us prior to return.

If you have changed your mind

For any undamaged product where you have changed your mind, simply return the product with its accessories and packaging, along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you received the product and we will exchange it or offer a refund via the original payment method. You will be required to pay the return postage or collection costs. We only issue refunds for undamaged items in their original packaging. If a product is not returned in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.

Refund process

When you return a Product to us for any reason, we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

We will usually refund any money using the method used by you to pay for your purchase.

Bespoke orders

Once a bespoke order has been placed and payment made, we take this as acceptance of our terms and conditions on bespoke orders. No major changes can be made once you have confirmed the design and/or once you have paid. Your order cannot be cancelled once we have bought all materials needed and started the manufacturing process. Any changes made to an order after acceptance of specifications and payment may incur an extra charge. 

If you have any questions regarding your bespoke order or need some advice before proceeding, please contact us, we are more than happy to help.

No refunds will be given on any bespoke order at any time. By agreeing to go ahead with any bespoke order, you accept these terms and conditions.
